Frequently asked questions about the We Buy Test Strips process.
How does the process work?
You choose your products from our website. Once you complete your order, we will give you a prepaid shipping label. Once we receive your package, we ask for 1-3 business days to process your order and make payment.
Why does my order say “On hold”?
All orders show the status of On Hold until they arrive and have been processed and payment is made. Once we initiate the payment, the order status will be updated to Complete, and you will receive an email to let you know payment has been issued.
If my product expiration date is too soon or some of my products are unacceptable, can you ship my items back?
Our site provides a calculator to help you determine what expiration dates we accept. Please use it to determine if we accept your products. We do not send items back. We ask you to check a box on the checkout form to verify that your products are not opened, expired, stained, or soiled before shipping them to us.
Who pays for shipping?
We pay for shipping. Once you enter your order on our website, you have the option to choose to print your own label, have a label mailed to you, or have a QR code emailed to you which will generate a free shipping label if you bring it to the post office to be scanned.
What products do you buy?
Our website has photos of all the products we purchase. If your item is not posted on our site, we will not accept it, nor will we send it back.
When will I get paid?
Payment is initiated 1 to 3 business days after your product’s arrival and processing. We send an update to your order by email as soon as we initiate the payment. Please allow us this time before reaching out to ask about your payment. It takes time away from us being able to process the orders and can delay payments. Our goal is to pay you as quickly as possible.
How long does it take for each payment option?
- Check payments take 5 to 14 business days to reach you. Checks are mailed the day after we complete your order.
- PayPal is instant. There is a fee of 2.9%. You are charged by PayPal as a seller. We will not pay as Friends and Family.
- ACH bank transfers take 4 business days to reflect on your account once we initiate the payment.
- Zelle is instant once we initiate payment. There is a daily limit with Zelle that is out of our control. Due to this, we ask for a secondary payment option. If Zelle is not available at the time we process your order, we will make payment through your secondary payment option.
Do you have a new customer bonus?
Yes, we offer a $10.00 new customer bonus. You are given a bonus code that you can use one time. If you forget to add it to your first order you can use it on your next order. We cannot add it for you, you must personally add it to your order before you submit it.

Should I remove the labels?
No, please leave labels on the boxes. We have a safe way to remove the labels that will not damage the products. We will then shred the labels. If you feel you must block out your information, please only block out the name and address with pen or marker. Be careful not to get any ink on the actual box, keep in mind markers may bleed through. When using a pen or marker, be careful not to push down too hard as it may damage the box.
How do I know this is not a scam and that I will get paid?
We run an honest and professional business. We recommend you check out our reviews. Our customers are very happy with us, and that is our goal. We would not be in business for over five years if we were not providing payment and great customer service.
Is it legal to sell my diabetic supplies?
Yes, selling your extra test strips, lancets, or CGM’s is legal as they can be bought over the counter in any pharmacy, with or without a prescription.
